Hi, I'm Sydney. I'm an engineer here at Arcade and for our last turbo over the

weeks, I've been working on a couple different projects. The first is to be

more customizable ways to embed your arcades within your application, and the

to improve the autoclave experience for viewers, particularly by including an

cursor that will show itself navigating through your arcade, even while it's

Something that our team worked on releasing recently was more configuration

options around embeds beyond just the standard inline embed of an arcade.

And one of the options that's been really popular for this is an in-app pop-up

model of your arcade, which just gives viewers the ability to, after seeing a

preview of the arcade, click on it and then it opens into a full screen model.

So able to view and play the arcade in more space, but without having to

navigate away from where they are in your website at that time.

But even in this case, there wasn't a lot of customization available in terms

of how the preview of that arcade would display before viewers interacted with

And so something that I wanted to work on with this feature is to provide the

ability to out of the box be able to embed an arcade, but have it trigger with

this in-app modal pop-up from any element within your website.

And that's fully customizable and very flexible to whatever we might need based

on the design of your site. So you could simply have a button that says, "Play

And then when viewers click it, it then triggers this in-app pop-up model

versus needing to show the full preview of the arcade before it begins playing.

But we also know that there are some other cases where you want to be able to

if the content in your arcade before a viewer has necessarily started

And that might be in the case of an exported video of your arcade that's

And so, wanted to think about with this feature ways that we can give viewers

to feel like they're actually using your application, even if they're just

And so in order to do this, this feature that I've added shows a cursor

clicking on hotspots, shows exactly what it would be like if the user were

with the arcade themselves, maybe encourage them to do so in the case of auto

And just to give a more inviting experience to the demo,

even if the arcade is just playing without them interacting yet.
