Sustainability Data Disclosures


Ethic Inc.’s (“Ethic’s”) screening and assessment services for portfolio creation are based on data that is carefully compiled from (i) third-party data providers; and (ii) an internal proprietary estimation model


(the “Enhanced Estimation Data Model”) and filtered through Ethic's screening criteria. Ethic believes the collected data to be reliable, but it cannot guarantee the accuracy of any third-party information. Ethic's


screening criteria is intended to balance both sustainability factors and the investment manager's ability to seek to approximate the pre-tax returns and risk characteristics of the relevant benchmark. In addition,


the criteria used may change over time and vary from those used by other screening services. As a result of balancing these priorities, an account may hold securities that are flagged by Ethic's sustainability


data model.


Ethic uses the Enhanced Estimation Data Model to enhance reported data for portfolio creation and impact metrics. The Enhanced Estimation Data Model uses a multi-linear regression model to categorize and


analyze a company’s known data values in order to estimate a peer-company’s unreported data values. The Enhanced Estimation Data Model is a proprietary model that was independently developed by Ethic


that it believes to be accurate, but it cannot guarantee the accuracy of any estimated values.


Ethic’s impact metrics are calculated by using data that is carefully compiled from (i) third-party data providers; and (ii) Ethic’s Enhanced Estimation Data Model.
